You can complete the dual study programme either at Bundesdruckerei GmbH or at Xecuro GmbH in Berlin. As a recognised training company with many years of experience, we work closely with the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin) as your workplace mentors on the programme.

Start and duration:
Your dual study programme begins on 1 October. Every three months, you will alternate between classroom-based modules at HWR Berlin and hands-on experience in our company, giving you an opportunity to apply what you have learnt.
Required school-leaving qualification:
For the dual study programme, you will need the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife). Good grades in mathematics, German and English are particularly important.

How the dual study programme in Business Administration with a specialisation in Industry works.
At both Bundesdruckerei GmbH and Xecuro GmbH, the dual study programme begins on 1 October at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin). It kicks off with a joint onboarding week, during which you get to know the company and other new talents.
Theory and training modules each last about three months and alternate. While you acquire the theoretical knowledge at HWR Berlin, for example in financial accounting, management accounting, corporate taxation and economics, you rotate through different departments in the company. This way, you gradually grow into your future role and are optimally prepared for your career in a modern industrial company.

At Bundesdruckerei GmbH, your remuneration based on a 35-hour workweek is:
- 1st year: €1,241.36
- 2nd year: €1,307.80
- 3rd year: €1,522.58
At Xecuro GmbH, your remuneration based on a 40-hour workweek is:
- 1st year: €1,421.03
- 2nd year: €1,497.09
- 3rd year: €1,742.95
