Christian Helfrich has been Chief Executive Officer of Bundesdruckerei Gruppe GmbH since January 2026 and also serves as Managing Director of Bundesdruckerei GmbH. He has been with Bundesdruckerei since January 2011 and previously held responsibility as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Bundesdruckerei GmbH. Since December 2020, he has additionally served as CFO of Bundesdruckerei Gruppe GmbH, overseeing both the strategic and operational management of finance, controlling and corporate governance. Alongside his role as CEO, he will continue to perform the duties of CFO. Helfrich studied economics at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. From 1995, he worked in various roles within the Bayer Group. Following the IPO of its subsidiary Agfa-Gevaert, Helfrich moved to Belgium, where he worked in finance for the Group's European production companies and as CFO Europe. Subsequently, he was responsible for implementing the global restructuring of the AGFA-Gevaert Group.

Dr Claudia Thamm has been a member of the Management Board of Bundesdruckerei Gruppe GmbH since January 2026, serving as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). She is also Labour Director and Managing Director of Bundesdruckerei GmbH. With more than 25 years of leadership experience within the Bundesdruckerei Group, Dr Thamm has most recently been responsible for the Group’s key customer relationships and their strategic development. Since 2025, Thamm has also served in key oversight and governance roles as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Agentur für Innovation in der Cybersicherheit GmbH (Cybersecurity Innovation Agency) and, since 2024, as Deputy Chair of the Supervisory Board of govdigital eG. A qualified lawyer, Dr Thamm completed both German state law examinations and was awarded a doctorate in law (Dr jur.). Earlier in her career, she worked in management consulting at KPMG in Washington, DC and Berlin, and held a strategic role at the Senate Chancellery of the Governing Mayor of Berlin.
