As part of your training in systems integration, you will acquire in-depth knowledge of the planning, implementation and operation of complex IT infrastructures. You will also practise documenting technical processes clearly, developing practical solutions as part of a team and advising customers competently. This will prepare you specifically for responsible tasks in IT system support.
A practical focus, a forward-looking approach and an understanding of the importance of stable IT processes are central to the programme. In Customer Service, you will also work customer sites across Germany, carrying out system installations, maintenance and repairs.
Over the course of each apprenticeship year, your expertise will grow as you deepen your understanding of networks, servers and interfaces – and learn how systems integration and software development work hand in hand.
The training programme for your apprenticeship as an IT specialist in system integration (m/f/d)
The apprenticeship starts every year on 1 September and usually lasts three years. Practical assignments in the company alternate regularly with lessons at vocational college. Your journey starts with a joint onboarding week in Berlin, where you will get to know the company and meet other new apprentices. From the outset, you will be involved in real IT projects and gain hands-on experience in systems and network engineering. Vocational college provides the theoretical foundations, covering topics such as network infrastructures, server and operating systems, IT security measures and data protection.
Your final year begins with a six-month specialisation phase, followed by a six-month final phase focused on preparing your examination project. This project forms the core of your final assessment and demonstrates your ability to solve complex IT tasks independently.
Our training teams and experienced colleagues will support you on a professional, methodological and personal level throughout your training — from the first year through to the final examination. After successfully completing your projects, you can look forward to well-earned time off.
