Self-service applications for ID cards – Secure identity capture and verification
Using the self-service terminal (SST), citizens at public agencies can capture their own data and apply for ID cards. Companies can also use this device to accredit visitors faster.
Quality-assured biometric data
Seamless data transmission
Clear, barrier-free and simple installation in public agency networks
The self-service terminal supports citizens during the application process for ID documents and driving licences. The biometric photo is taken directly at the device and sent, together with the fingerprints and signatures, to the public agency network in a seamless, quality-assured process. This procedure allows citizens themselves to apply for their ID documents, no photo is required and it shortens waiting times.
The terminal also enables citizens to use the public services offered by the respective municipalities. This relieves staff at the agency from routine procedures in the application process. The terminal can also be used for access management.
