New Managing Director of German IT security provider genua

genua feiert 25-jähriges Jubiläum

Mr Matthias Ochs has been appointed new Managing Director of German IT security provider genua, becoming the fourth member of the management team.

Bundesdruckerei's subsidiary genua has appointed a new Managing Director: On 1 August 2017, Matthias Ochs took over the Marketing section at top management level. The management of the German IT security provider now consists of the two founders and shareholders Dr. Magnus Harlander and Bernhard Schneck as well as Marc Tesch and Matthias Ochs.

Former product manager now in top management

genua Managing Director Schneck is looking forward to working with Mr Ochs:  "Matthias Ochs has already held important posts in the past. We are particularly pleased to have him now on board as another Managing Director." Before joining management, 45-year old Ochs was head of the Product Marketing division. Mr Ochs worked for the German Armed Forces before starting his career at genua in 2011 as a product manager.

IT security provider genua develops security solutions, for instance, firewalls to protect networks, VPN solutions for encrypted data exchange and systems for the secure remote maintenance of machines. Customers are federal and local authorities, the Würth Group, mechanical engineering group MAN as well as the German Armed Forces.
