CEO Ulrich Hamann and CFO Christian Helfrich form the management of Bundesdruckerei GmbH.
Ulrich Hamann has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bundesdruckerei since 2004. He studied Electrical Engineering at Hanover University and graduated as an engineer. From 1986 to 1999, Ulrich Hamann held various executive positions in the semiconductor division of Siemens AG. From 1999 to 2003, Mr Hamann was Chief Executive Officer for the business groups Security and Chip Card ICs, Wireless Solutions and Secure Mobile Solutions at Infineon Technologies AG. He was also responsible for establishing and managing Infineon's Corporate Center.

Ulrich Hamann is a member of various committees. He is a member of the principle executive board of BITKOM e.V and he also chairs the Secure Identity Berlin-Brandenburg association. Mr Hamann is a member of both the board of trustees of the German Forum for Crime Prevention and of the Advisory Board of the Fraunhofer Institutes for Applied Polymer Research (IAP) and for Reliability and Microintegration (IZM) as well as a board member of the Franz Cornelsen Stiftung.
Christian Helfrich, born in Heidelberg in 1967, has been Bundesdruckerei's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since January 2011. He studied economics at Ruprecht-Karls University in Heidelberg. After graduating, he joined Agfa-Gevaert in 1997 where he held various positions including CFO Europe and was also responsible for the group’s reorganisation within finance.
