Bundesdruckerei supports the digital transformation

CeBIT booth primarily addresses medium-sized Enterprises; IT security "Made in Germany"; Booth highlight: ANNA the robot and secure remote maintenance

Berlin/Hanover – The digital transformation is the focus of Bundesdruckerei's booth at CeBIT. In Hall 7, booth C18, Bundesdruckerei is showing how it changed from an analogue company for security printing to a digitised high-security company with a focus on IT. The company will also be presenting its digital transformation portfolio for the private sector. "Private companies can benefit from our extensive expertise and technical know-how in IT security," says Ulrich Hamann, CEO of Bundesdruckerei GmbH. Many small and medium-sized companies in Germany are hesitant to enter into the digital age. With this trade show presentation, Bundesdruckerei is demonstrating that digitisation is also the way forward for these companies. "Those who wish to make use of the opportunities of the digital revolution need sustainable protection for their company's assets, i.e. for all data, infrastructures and communication channels," explains Mr Hamann.

Bundesdruckerei's booth is divided into seven CeBIT theme worlds: Digital transformation, consultancy for digital transformation, secure networking, digital transactions, electronic invoice management, trust in the digital world, as well as secure identities at companies.

One of this year's highlights is our robot ANNA: Bundesdruckerei will demonstrate with ANNA how machine parameters can be remotely monitored and important software updates can be quickly uploaded into production systems, even if they are thousands of miles away. Visitors will be able to see how data connections can be established without security risks, even in critical production and operating networks while the customer maintains full control over the network and the work carried out there.

The booth layout reflects the digital transformation challenges facing companies, organisations and public authorities. The central design element is the so-called plexus which symbolises the complex nervous system of the digital transformation. A flight of stairs symbolically leads visitors through the would-be chaos of digitisation with Bundesdruckerei as the guiding partner at their side. Mr Hamann: "We can provide comprehensive IT solutions, from consultancy to implementation, everything is supplied from a single source and 'made in Germany'."
