Exemption from fees/reduced fees:
No fee is usually charged for the first-time issuing of an ID card for individuals who have not yet reached the age of 21. The fee may be reduced or may not be charged if the person owing such fee is in need.
Information is available from the respective public agency (usually the citizens' registration office, the passport office or citizens' office and/or the city or municipal administration).
Provisional documents and children's passports
Information concerning the fees for provisional documents and children's passports is available from your local passport and/or ID card office.
EU driving licence card
The fee for the EU driving licence card is 24.00 euro. Driving licences can also be sent directly to the applicant's home on payment of a small fee.
