Cutpak: At the end of a long production process, the euro banknotes which are printed on sheets are cut into individual notes, counted and prepared for packaging. Million-euro pallets: The euro banknotes are still piled up in sheets. They are transported to the next production stage where the sheets are cut into individual notes, counted and prepared for dispatching. Security by the metre! The special foil of the new euro banknotes is one of the many security features that will put an end to counterfeiters. Download 300 dpi (657 KB)	Besides other printing methods, intaglio printing is the most demanding and expensive process that is used in banknote production.
