With its future-enabled ID systems, the latest in chip technology and biometric processes, the Bundesdruckerei Group is responding to the global increase in demand for security and the permanent expansion of international security standards. Intensive development work in the Group's own R&D departments enabled the registration of a host of patents in recent years. With several new products, the Group was additionally able to make an important contribution towards optimised ID processes, increased mobility of document verification operations, and reliable interoperability of ID systems used on an international scale.
