Secure ID endowed professorship

Prof. Dr. Volker Roth

Prof. Dr. Volker Roth has held the "Secure Identity" endowed chair at Freie Universität Berlin since 2009.

He received his doctoral degree from Universität Darmstadt. Dr. Roth worked for almost ten years at Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics before joining OGM Laboratory LLC in Omaha, Nebraska. There he read on the basics of cryptology at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Roth researched at the Fuji Xerox Palo Alto Lab before moving to Berlin in spring 2009 within the scope of the endowed professorship.
