Bundesdruckerei's products and services can be found in many areas of public life. Our company supplies German identification documents and banknotes, postage and revenue stamps, as well as numerous publications by the German Patent and Trade Mark Office.

Furthermore, we have also felt committed for many years to take on responsibility in other areas of social life.

Our support of the sports club of the Berlin police (PSV) as well as our technical support for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing underpin our appreciation and enthusiasm for athletic ambition and top achievements of athletes.

We are also committed to tailored educational projects in order to promote totally different kinds of talent. StreetUniverCity Berlin® (SUB), for instance, supports children and young people from underprivileged families and helps them to plan their future lives and professional orientation. In this context, Bundesdruckerei is backing the "edYOUcation" and "Kunst im Kiez" projects.

With the creation of an endowed professorship for "Secure ID" at Freie Universität Berlin and the establishment of the "Secure Identity Berlin-Brandenburg" innovation cluster in co-operation with Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, we have taken first important steps to anchor the issue of secure identities in a broad scientific and social context and to establish a new quality of co-operation between researchers and innovative product developers in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.
