Security in all work processes and areas
Data protection is an integral part of Bundesdruckerei's corporate philosophy. It refers to all customers, suppliers and employees and applies to all work processes and areas.

One of the paramount tasks of a state governed by the rule of law is to protect the fundamental rights of its citizens. This applies, in particular, to a society which has to face up to the challenges of technological progress.

Bundesdruckerei is aware of its duties and committed to protect the right to informational self-determination of each and every citizen. In order to guarantee this and to make sure that the requirements of the Federal Data Protection Act and other laws or regulations regarding data protection are complied with, the company has appointed a corporate data privacy protection officer.

Any personal data which Bundesdruckerei may temporarily need, for example, to produce ID documents, is handled in strict compliance with data protection law. It goes without saying that Bundesdruckerei also applies the same care in protecting the data of its customers, suppliers and employees.

Accreditation of the entire company according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and in particular according to ISO 27001:2005 and CWA 14641:2006 also warrants the outstanding quality.
